Before the Tuono, the Falco was the middle of the road between the track based Mille and the Touring based Futura. It took advantage of the Mille's Superbike 998cc 60 degree V-Twin engine which utlized a dry sump, slipper clutch and two 51mm throttle bodies. The chassis retained the Mille's powerful Brembo brakes and solid electronics. A fine combination of Rotax power, reliability and touring comfort. |

It's short wheel base and upright seating postion make it nimble in the hills and comfortable on the street. | | | | Kawasaki Z1000: Riding with Musclecross! A raw streetfighter, the Z1000 is an aggresive entry into the multi purpose category. Based on the ZX9 engine, it has been bored to 998cc's and recofigured for a more usable overall powerband. It has one of the more characteristic stylings in its class accented with quad pipes and a shallow nose. |
