In the end, it looks like this. But it took a while to get here
I really liked the flat black look. It was mean and menacing but it gave away its true nature as all go and no show. Sometimes the best way to make it look slow is to make it look pretty!
So I stripped it down to nothing and had it towed off to the local body shop. I requested it get stripped to bare metal and have everything taken care of.
I also pulled the engine out for a revamp while it was gon... and to keep anyone from touring the town in it a the paint shop.
The final product was very nice. I was hoping for a darker red but I really cant complain.
Onto the truck and back to the house for final assembly.
It has a great mirro finish.
Having it back together was a strange feeling. The car gets a lot of attention, not all of it good.
It almost hurts your eyes!
