New off the showroom floor, the stock headlights are good. Over time though, the reflective material behind the H3 bulbs fades. This results in much less light and consequently poor visibility. Many have replaced the H3 Bulbs with a Xenon HID Headlight Conversion kit. I have yet to do this. 5/14/08: Just had my first night ride. These lights barely lite up the road for me. The bike has just under 7000 miles on it. Visability was extremly poor, I need to up grade these as soon as posible. |
