The Falco controls comes well equipped as designed with little room for improvement. The digital dash is loaded with features and offers good day and night visibility. The clipons are comfortably mounted although slightly swept forward, making them just right if you are over 6 feet tall. The hydraulic levers are adjustable and easy to operate with a few fingers. The throttle is about 1/4 turn lock to lock which is seems touchy at first but assists in combatting wrist strain over time. |
The dash has all kinds of suprises tucked within. In addition to the normal stuff like dual trip meters, volt meter, clock and fuel reserve light, you will also find your highest top speed, average speed and 30 memory lap timer. Switch to diagnostic mode and you can zero out your TPS as well during the tuning process. It is a very cool unit. The analog tach is easy to read as are the digital counterparts. This leaves lots of room on the sides to readily mount relays and fuses: The lap timer is triggered by a special toggle on the left side controls that doubles as a high beam flasher when signaling cars in the fast lane. Both hydraulic levers provide 4 position adjustment to match the rider. |
